THAT is what she said...
Verizon is NOT going to get an iPhone. At least not in the foreseeable future. Would Verizon have put out that "iDont/Droid Does" commercial if getting an iPhone was in there cards...?
I just want wave. Please made wave a public beta...pretty please.
Summer starts on June 23. So, that's not quite now yet...
The thing that's missing here is: Does the Kindle actually make an audio copy when it's reading? The Author Guild guy seems to think that it's a derivative work, but if there is no product (ie: an audio file) then how is that infringing? If it simply takes the text that's on the screen, reads it out loud and creates no file...then it is IDENTICAL to someone reading the book out loud to someone else (kids, friend, dying grandparent).
I was at an EBGames considering buying a PS3 and couldn't justify the cost. The manager told me that if cost is what I was holding out for, then I should wait a little longer...that a Sony rep had been in and was hinting (didn't confirm definitively) that the PS3 was about to get a $100 discount.
It will make all of the graphic designers and video editors happy though...which is one of Apple's main demographics.
What really gets me is...how can he claim that it's NOT exercise AND claim that it doesn't stress warming up enough?! Nobody is suing Bungie for not warning about stretching your thumbs prior to playing...
RIM and Rogers took that pledge against blister packs an entirely different direction than the rest of the industry.
Bravo, good sir.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
