If Apple had made this product, the title would be "Apple amazes again with groundbreaking technology" or something similar.
Having read over this, I can confirm that it is absolute rubbish. Also, energy is only a concept - it does not actually exist; it is simply the result of a force moving through a distance in the direction of the force.
Are you joking me?!?!?!?!?!? NEWS ON ENGADGET WITHOUT MENTION OF THE IPHONE. OMG! THIS IS A MIRACLE! THE SITE HAS BEEN HACKED! CALL THE POLICE QUICKLY!
I can guarentee that those standing in the line for the iphone will have a significantly lower IQ than those who don't buy the iphone. I predict that the IQ of those standing in line will average out at around 1 to 1.5 standard deviations below mean IQ. As a result, the distribution of the IQ of those queuing for the iPhone is likely to be positively skewed. Purchasing the iPhone shows a significant lack of intelligence and inability to make one's own mind due to significant control by the media. Steve Jobs, with his being a clever man, will no doubt be laughing at the fools who have purchased his phone. Let's face it; the masses have never been able to think for themselves. Unfortunately, the "survival of the fittest" no longer applies these days, as it seems that even the retards of the world are living. And if they weren't? The iPhone would flop.

Conclusion: Steve Jobs = Genius; iPhone purchasers = genius' victims.
I guess you must be form the USA. Unlike the USA, we Europeans get decent phones and aren't completely sucked in by the media. One thing, which it is impossible to argue otehrwise, is that the iphone will suck functionality wise; pretty much no applications, because apple are only opening up "web apps", and there will be no hard keyboard. Just because Steve Jobs said it, don't mean its right. I used to think teh USA knew about gadgets, but the population obviously don't. Most gadget fans in the USA are completely influenced by the media, which is emphasized by the fact that Engadget seems extremely obsessed with the iphone. The iphone is a pile of crap; just because appl emakes it, it isn't decent. The UI qill suck, and the functions suck as well. Thus, anybody who purchases an iphone is:

a) A retard, who thinks he knows about technology, but doesn't
b) A retard, who thinks hes "cool" by purchasing it.

I can gurentee, that if one were to look at the demographic of people using the iphone, they would have a significantly less IQ that those using symbian UIQ phones. The only intelligent person using an iphone will be Steve Jobs; he's amazing at tricking the general public.

If you ask anyone with the iphone a thing about electronics, they won't have a clue. Ask them what a transistor is, and you've lost them. Anybody with the faintest idea of techmology and electronics would not purchase an iphone. The iphone is a device produced for the unintelligent masses. After all, most of the population is unintelligent. If one was to go to Harvard, for example, I bet that far less people would have an iphone, when compared to a less academic university.
You'll be watching it form your iphone? Good joke! Itl take you around 10 mins to laod a youtuibe video on your sub dial up speeds, and you'll then sind that youtube videos aren't supported, as apple will say "the only way to access videos on the iphone, is to use the itunes service in order to buy videos".
"The iphone will be out." The iphone is rubbish compared to the w960. 3.2mp camera, hard keyboard, navigation without using touchscreen (via scrollwheel on side), decent software (not what will be rubbish "web apps"), a reasonable price and 3G!
Same! I dont know whether to get the p1 or hold out for the w960! I think im going to wait!
The lack of a directional pad is irrelavent, as like all UIQ phones, the w960 will have a directional scroll wheel on the top left hand side (on the physical left hand side of the phone, so not visible via front on shots). This allows the user to scroll up and down a list, select (via pushing in), go back (via pushing backwards) and to bring up options (by pushing inwards, towards the user). That is why, the w960 phone is miles better than the iphone. It has a hard keyboard, extremely good 3rd party apps available (which will not be available for the iphone via "web apps" im sure (they will also cost a great deal to load, unless one has unlimited data, and also take ages to load), and also, the iphone has no 3g. To top it off, the w960 also has a 3.2mp camera. Its an iphone killer, but apple fanboys wont see that and will still buy the iphone because its "cool". Also, I have used the w950, and I can tell you, that the music player is amazing; it is extremely aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The side scroll wheel on the w950 and music player can be viewed here:

The w960 will have the same (or improved) music player, and a scroll wheel also.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
