Yeah, you're right. Size wise it's like the iPod. I still don't think that a nano sized iPhone would make too much sense. Imagine trying to type on that small virtual keyboard.
I thought the current iPhone was based on the Nano. Steve said that the price was a combination of a smart phone and the most popular portable music player, the iPod Nano. Plus, how could something that small be usefull? They'd need to get rid of the home button and integrate the sensors/speaker into the crome at the top so the screen could be as large as possible.
This would replace my carbon fiber faced, black ion plated, Fossil watch I bought for $115.
I agree with Beyondthetech, I think they should expand this to all iPhone owners (although I am sadly not one yet). That would make the use of YouTube and Safari on the iPhone much better when away from the home or office WiFi.
I tried to send a note to my email address when I was playing with the iPhone friday, and it didn't work. Something was wrong with the one I was using. It wouldn't even go on the internet. I think it didn't like the WiFi network there at the store. So far no one has tried to email me from that iPhone (I'm assuming my email is saved in the phone like your phone number was). My mom was scared people would start sending me stuff. Hehehe, mom's are funny.
I look forward to using it at school to view email and check engadget during class and also using its slick iPod features.
I was wondering what other people thought that was. It looks like we (well, those that are getting an iPhone; I'm too poor right now) might be able to at least view Office documents, which would be good for the college student in class downloading and viewing notes or presentations or the business professional that is on his way to the office and needs to review stuff before his meeting. It would sure make it better than my HP iPAQ.
Count me in. I could always use a new phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
