I'm one of those disappointed people. :(
I completely agree, the fiasco that was RDRAM ruined upgrading making it more expensive than buying a new computer.
@ Quix

1) One of the best high definition sources available is ATSC broadcast, completely free.

2) If you spent money on a home theater system and don't have a computer connected you wasted money somewhere. Hulu, Netflix's Watch Instantly, and sites like comedycentral.com all have decent quality content with low amounts of commercials for free.

3) If you are using a HTPC, a cable/sat provided DVR, or most non-Tivo DVR's you pay close to nothing for the actual DVR service.

If your going to do a three point response to a one line message make sure they are actually good points.
Osborne Effect - here's the X0 2.0 which is much more feature filled but please still buy those old X0 just like you would have.
Any chance there could be a way to stop the "rotating carousel" from breaking my eyes. A pause button would it much less distracting and jarring.
True I'll give you that one, but its the comments that are pissing me off. People are just crazy when it comes to airports, I thought the whole liquid thing was absolutely ludicrous.
Even if it was a real bomb, would shooting the person carrying it be the brightest move? Shooting her or the bomb itself easily could have set it off. I can't believe that we are that paranoid that we have thrown out our value of human life and are so ready to make snap decisions to kill people without even knowing the consequences of our actions.
What's your source for that info?
If anyone reads this and actually has one, can you please install google maps and give a definitive answer whether or not the phone has full GPS that is compatible with google maps or windows live maps. Thank you very much.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
