Have you thought about the average consumer? If they can't figure it out without reading the manual, it's 'broken'. This kinda falls in line with when you read how many people with HD sets aren't receiving HD content. Just total consumer ignorance.

Awhile back, I worked at CompUSA and BestBuy. I can tell you that without a doubt, at LEAST 95% of what came back had nothing wrong with it. Highest return rates had to be on memory, video cards, and essentially anything internal to a computer. "Wrong speed memory" does not equal broken.
In PA, table games are not allowed. They get away with higher stakes blackjack by having a table like this, where the dealer is always incredibly hot and on a large plasma TV, and each player has a screen in front of them. I suspect something like this would be a way to get away with having poker for states that allow machines but not tables.
@ JerkfacedFed:

True, the 360 plays xvid files. However, whenever I play a widescreen rip, it played only as wide as a 4:3 video would, so looks very small. However, the 360 is able to navigate videos in folders, which the ps3 is not (I wouldn't think it would be that hard, but they don't show up).

Meanwhile, the PS3 plays all my .avi files really well so far, and looks great.

So both do it, and both have their downsides. Either way, let's see the Wii do that.
@ phanbouy

So when's the last time you rented an HD-DVD from Netflix? Doubt it's anytime since February. Blockbuster online yes, does still carry them, but how are you going to watch any new movies that come out on your 360 add-on?

Oh, and sure you can back them up, but at 25GB/movie, even a terabyte drive can only store 40 movies. Hardly any if you're looking to stock up before HD-DVDs are unavailable. Which is another thing. Sure, they're discounted now, but how long do you think before you won't be able to find many HD-DVDs out there? Shouldn't be too long now.

No, I'm not a fanboy. I waited out the format war, and then bought a PS3. It's time to admit that HD-DVD is dead, and that Blu Ray is the future.
That's my reasoning. It'll be enough for the PS3 and a couple movies and games
gimme gimme gimme
Something tells me that this is too big to use on my keys...
So let's see here...we have 2 reports, 18 and 25 vouchers that will be available, guaranteed to get you a Wii in the next month. That's probably the whole next month's shipment of Wiis, which brings up two scenarios:
first, people will be trying to get these vouchers as much as they are trying to get Wiis themselves. Really nothing different there. Second, in January, for those who did not buy in advance, Wiis will be even HARDER to find...

I'm just happy that I was able to get one this past weekend, even though it didn't really matter if I got it before Christmas...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
