My stereo was made in 2007. Will this help me? Also, I only have CAN$7.00. Thanks.
Lots of Canadian libraries are participting... the overdrive.com website has a list. You don't need the Daily Edition to access the Overdrive library downloads -- you can use any of the new models (and maybe a couple of the old ones).

re. wireless in Canada -- I wouldn't hold my breath. We'll be through a couple more product cycles before that happens.
Criterion's DVD releases are all Region 1, distributed in North American only. Licensing issues. I assume it will be the same w/ BluRay. Beautiful stuff if you can get it though.
Ummm.... Sony is Big Media. I was looking forward to the possibility of getting this in North America, but the lack of HD recording and no transfer = complete lack of interest.
I think the point is that it functions better than other high-quality antennas of the same size. Read the source articles before criticizing.
The person that came up with the name "Classia" should be forced to listen to Infinity speakers for the rest of their life.
So, $123 million is less than 10% of $1 billion? That's using accounting math, right?
Ummmm... why are we even talking about this? Some anonymous guy in a forum claims he conducted some "test" in the basement of his house. Why anyone would attach any credibility to this is beyond me. Would you believe someone who claimed that they set up an experiment at home that proves that wifi causes brain cancer?

I personally don't believe that expensive cables are worth the money, but this "study" (assuming it actually happened) is a joke.
Same happened with me.The Wii was fun for a while but I needed to move on to the PS3. The 360 was not a consideration because of the reliability probs and the jet-engine fan noise. My wife still loves the Wii (there are a few decent games), but the PS3 is my console of choice by a wide margin.
Don't have the category I would vote in: DVD was good, Blu-ray/HD-DVD is better.

I've got a Blu-ray player now, and will buy Blu-ray over DVD, but I'll still be happy watching the hundreds of DVDs I've collected over the years. I will only re-buy on Blu in exceptional circumstances (ie. Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, etc.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
