Oct 2nd 2008 2:22AM So does anyone think this will get canned by Microsoft? The announcement at E3 made it seem like they had an 'exclusive' agreement with Netflix to be the only console to provide this functionality.
I personally expect MS to pounce quickly to shut this down. Just a guess though.

Sep 28th 2008 10:34PM For the price this has absolutely destroyed my old TW/RR combo. I can deal with waiting for upgrades etc. because I have gotten more from ATT for $35 bucks less a month.
Total Home DVR is just around the corner, and the Internet is much more reliable than RR was.

Sep 13th 2008 3:38AM Another reason not to buy it. I don't see how they expect 360 users to pay the same price for a broken game.
At least with BioShock you can get it on 360 for less than 30 bucks now and it was out for so long. It doesn't hurt as much to see a fuller featured BioShock come out on another platform.

Sep 5th 2008 5:05PM The Entertainment Division consists of all things Xbox, Zune, Mobile Devices etc. so it is impossible to pinpoint exact figures of where the profit is coming from, but they have had profit for at least a year now.
MS has been making money on this console for a while, I don't think they have made up all their losses because of the RRoD write-off but they are in much better shape than Sony. It is hard to say what the price cuts will change, but I assure you they aren't going to put themselves into a position to lose money after they finally started making some.
Nintendo has been making money from the start because the Wii only costs $150-200 to make.

Sep 5th 2008 4:40PM I sold my Wii a month ago for the same reasons. I got bored with it, it doesn't have any engaging games. My 360 trumps it, but I do miss Wii Sports fun with friends.
