You're kidding right? In Canada the CRTC is basically letting the Bell, who controls DSL, do anything they want (IE no regulation). So Bell is going to charge users and resellers Bandwidth Based Usage fees, and throttle user connections all most all day (I don't get more than 30KBps until like 4am).

That means no more unlimited bandwidth and no more high speed connections.
Because the CRTC has no teeth.

I hate it when people incorrectly use Canada as an example for how things should be done (our CRTC is a corrupt bribed joke) or how things should not be done (out health system is not perfect but better than privatization, Tommy Douglas was voted greatest Canadian).
His from Finland, so to him it means "awesome", "good", or "well done".
Where does net neutrality advocate only one ISP and no competition?
Maybe he can't switch ISPs cause there are no others, or one controllers the access of the rest (thus controlling all). Ask a Canadian and you'll know what I'm talking about.
You need to stop watching Fox news. The government isn't out to 'get you'. If they were they'd be wiretapping without warrants and hypocritically calling criticism of their party "unpatriotic".

Its not's like the CRTC is looking out for consumer interests either.
No it means throttling is OK as long as they say "last resort".

And viola; CRTC F's us in the A again.
Switch to Arcanac or Teksavvy
@matt Surely you can expand on yoru comment. How did regulation stop HD video?
I'm sure all 334 would have just dropped dead regardless of tasering.

Electric shock contributing to cardiac arrest in a target? That's a risk we can take. And by "we" I mean the people with the tasers.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
