They seem to send electronics through the U.S. mail system all the time and don´t have a problem.
Have you ever bought a replacement part for your computer or a laptop or any type of electronics via Amazon, Radio shack or where ever?
Some people are bit Unabomber paranoid out there...
Looks like it went through the British Postal system. Now somebody should try it in the USA, shipping a box across America. Lots of dark time for sure...
I liked the Green alien guy with the pink legs and the babe and a couple others that didn´t make it into the top group.

The one that got chosen is one unhappy dude. And dead, too.
Guess he will look better when plugged in....lousy battery life I guess.
I say boycott AppleTV and buying video via iTunes.
It just locks you up to the Apple digital monopoly.

If I buy a DVD I can take it over to friends and watch it on their TV, whenever and whereever. I can give the DVD away or even sell it.
Try doing that with your pay-per-view AppleTV iTunes programs.
Don´t you guys see how you are all building the prison wall around your content and lifestyle?
You don´t own it, it owns you!
Boycott Apple (and any other) digital monopoly!
Buy a high mileage non-hybrid Toyota or Honda or a new Diesel VW.
Same or better gas mileage and none of the high polluting sludge of the batteries, plus let´s not forget all that CO2 pollution made by the powerplant to make the electricity to charge them.
Apple is tooooooooooo slow to release new products.
I vote that the Steve is too preoccupied with his stock options lawyer and nothing is getting okayed in a timely manner.
Try setting this up with your computer up one flight of stairs and down the hall and your TV is in the basement.
LOL.
Why doesn´t it sync? Run up to computer to troubleshoot. Run back to TV to try again....repeat ad nauseum.
Whew! They must trust their patrons with all that high-tech gear.
From what I have seen of movie goers I can imagine the vandalism that is possible with this.
Copy apple here, copy apple there....b.s.
This is the natural evolution of the phone. what other design could there that takes full advantage of the size and has not keyboard?
Anybody with 2 cents worth of brains could come up with an "apple iphone" design.
what will make the iphone different is the software.
trouble with apple is they are tooooooo slooooooow to bring out new product.
So how does this help deter a pickpocket? They really think the pickpocket snatches your wallet then immediately opens it? A pickpocket snatches, runs and somewhere far away from the victim takes the goodies out. So what if an alarm buzzes? He tosses the card and moves on.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
