just reading the install instructions:
"You’ll need to do a "clean installation." That means you can’t upgrade an existing PC to Windows 7 RC. So if you’re using an existing PC and want to keep the information on it, you’ll need to back it up before you start. "

Will I lose EVERYTHING if I install Windows 7? programs, files, pictures... ? really?

I'm not gonna complain about the price, I've been all over the other for-pay upgrades..but as a 1G iPod Touch owner... what do I really get with this that I can use? (the only thing its gonna do is cripple me, when I want to download an app that is only for 3.0)

I think dumping and brushing your teeth might be the answer... that way, when fecal matter is being spewed the toothbrush is in your mouth and isn't exposed to the fecal matter.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
