Doesn't it strike you odd that google used MS Excel to print out a simple table of numbers?
You do realize you all just fed the troll wonderfully well.
I thought that the limiting factor is not necessarily the io controller but the controller on the SSD itself? If that is the case, why bother....

Time to get Wiki/Google-ing
A fat chubby adapter that requires three inputs is not exactly one cable. Apple should have stuck the HDMI port there in the first place.
I wonder what the timeline is then for an iPod touch with camera? Is it possible apple would release one 'mid-cycle', say early next year?

ATT (cracks whip at apple): We are enforcing this exclusivity contract. iPhone is not giving us enough revenue for our leet 3G network.
Apple: Um we could enforce encryption for all those exchange users... That would drive up bandwidth usage, more packets = more $$$ for you no?
ATT (smiles): We own all your bases.
Air Canada has standard AC power ports in every seat in biz class, and every other seat in cattle class.

From: http://www.aircanada.com/en/about/media/facts/products/exec_na.html

"Personal Communication System

* Laptop power port available on select seats on some Boeing 767-300, A321, A319 & A320 (adaptor may be needed).
* Embraer 175/190: In-seat power (1 outlet per 2 seats)."

I have not flown US carriers in a while, but I am pretty sure that there are a number that have some sort of power port. Maybe you needs to stop flying ultra low cost carriers if you want power.

Seriously, this is not something you can fake easily like a purse. How many other socket 1156 cpu's and motherboards are there out there?
In reference to above re FTTH..there is no need to run fibre throughout your house. With a 1 Gbps switch and plain vanilla Cat6 (read: copper) cables you have speeds far greater than the 50 or 100 Mbps coming into your house. That fibre is used to aggregate traffic from many houses.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
