No need for a crystal ball. Don't wait for 4G because it's going to be awhile unless you're looking at Sprint and even Sprint doesn't have a 4G phone out there yet. Plus, when Sprint finally DOES come out with a 4G phone it will probably only be 1 or 2 models. If you don't like those 1 or 2 models, then you waited a long time for nothing.

In the gadget world if you wait for the next best thing you'll be waiting forever.

+1 for George. Moto has carved out a very profitable niche for themselves providing public safety communications gear with hefty government contracts and fat-daddy margins.

It pays to be one of the few truly all-American companies in the telecom equipment market.

Spec sheet is nice but the phone itself is kind of ugly.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
