Back when the earlier version of this came out, and I was choosing between either this, or the Sony Handycam DSC-M1. I went with the latter, and am so glad that I never looked back.
I had a dream about this, only two nights ago.

I'm freaked out, now.

Only not really.
Same here. Weird.
I WILL NOT get a Wii unless it will offer DVD playback WITHOUT modding.
As soon as Rogers merged with Fido (our only two GSM companies), they cancelled all unlimited plans. Rogers at the time was charging $50 per month for "unlimited access" (which was actually only up to 20MB), and Fido was charging $50 per month for actual unlimited. But yep, the CRTC didn't block the sale, and now there's a GSM monopoly.

Then yeah, we have CDMA companies like Telus and Bell. Eww.
Lucky that you guys get an iPlan. Here in Canada, Rogers said that when the iPhone is released sometime around December, we will NOT be getting any special kind of plan. Here, 1GB of mobile data costs about $4000. That's right. $4000. The absolute best plan that exists is 200MB for $100, and $5 per MB thereäfter. I would take that iPlan in a heartbeat.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
