Whooh! Thank heavens that you're here to completely contradict the words of the company itself. What do THEY know?
Stop me if you've heard this one before:

"I'm not paying that kind of money for something that I will purposely try to hide away from sight and hearing range."

I think you're totally right, but even a right-minded argument of that type is kind of misplaced here. For, you see, *everyone* is down, including Toyota, Honda, etc. You're supposed to rub the domestic noses in it when they're -20% and everyone else is +20%.

It looks like you just couldn't wait to trot out your favorite old-chestnut of an argument, but trust me, there are numerous better articles to use as an impetus. Give it ten minutes and I'm sure one will pop up.
Several pounds? How many tacos are you slingin' there, big fella?
I'm a tech writer, and we fudge screen caps like this all the time. In fact, we often have little contests in the office to determine who can release captures with the highest fudge percentage.

Yep, it's THAT boring of a job.

In other words, I wouldn't make too much of this until the thing is literally in your hands with an 80GB capacity.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
