Wait for the new model. I understand that it will have 4 GB, 2 choats and 1 dird (dolphin/bird combo).
I agree with you. Two times is proof!

Let me just add these two points:

1) This gentleman with the flaming iPod is a national hero. He may have saved millions of lives. He should be awarded some kind of medal and possibly made Director of Homeland Security.

2) Apple should pull all pre-September 2007 iPods from the market and fully reimburse the owners. As an added measure of safety I think Apple should probably also buy back any accessories that the iPod owners may have purchased over the years - even if they were not manufactured by Apple.

Sincerely,
JoeX
Really? He looks like a decent guy to me. Not like some of these hyped-up a$$holes who smile for the cameras but treat their own employees like dirt.
Judging from the shape of the head I’d say this thing is definitely Kosher for Passover. If you know what I mean …
Yeah.

I figured out a few ways to improve the design:

#1 - Get rid of the car shell.
#2 - Put the person on top of the horse.
#3 - Give the person a poncho/warm jacket so that they are protected from rain/cold.

My improved design is cheaper, has less wind resistance and smells better.

I call it the Carless Horse.
So is Medeco planning on replacing the old locks? I have four M3s that were put in about 15 months ago. Those are expensive locks and one of the reasons I bought them was because I thought they would be good for 25 yrs.

If I remember correctly the bumping story broke about a year ago - which was a few months after I bought the locks. Not sure if I can find the warranty info that came with the locks but it seems to me that Medeco has basically been selling a defective product and so I should be entitled to a refund/replacement.

This whole story is really annoying to me. I'm not blaming the people who found the fault in the locks (that would be stupid) - I'm blaming Medeco!
It's very nice except for the Memory Stick storage. I wish Sony would switch to SD.
Interesting. The picture of the BL-5C that Engadget is using shows that it is made in Japan.

My BL-4C says:
Cell made in Korea, Further processed in China.
Me too. That was lucky. I started with Nokia eight years ago and they've always worked well for me.
e-text + search engine = Wow! I would never have found this by flipping through the book.

Orwell actually briefly mentions China in the part of "1984" where Winston is being tortured:

The circle of the mask was large enough now to shut out the vision of anything else ... The rats knew what was coming now ...

‘It was a common punishment in Imperial China,’ said O’Brien as didactically as ever.

The mask was closing on his face.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
