I can't believe how many people on this site act like $600 is a lot of money. If you can't afford to buy TWO of these on launch, you shouldn't be spending money on one.
I know it feels good to come here and bash a product you can't afford by saying it doesn't do 'X' as well as it should, or it doesn't have 'Y.' But the simple fact is, that the 'beautiful people' will enjoy owning this product and could care less whether or not the 'average joe' thinks it's a good value.
This a cool phone, with some cool features, but to those of us this is being marketed towards, it's a toy, not a purchase we have to 'save up' for. If you think this product is too expensive for you, you're probably right.
I apologize if I offended anyone here, but not every product is meant for every one and if you don't understand that, you probably never will.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
