Apple and Sony so just got PWND in the looks department. It will be interesting to see how this thing performs though. Good pushing the design bar up a notch Acer.
OMG Someone actually came out with a touchscreen phone that actually has an interface that looks good and doesn't totally rip off the iphone interface. I have an iphone but I'm very interested to see how this device turns out. I like the features but they could work on the case a little more looks kinda cheap for something that will probably cost $$$$.
Please don't put flash memory in the new touchscreen ipod. I perfer a higher capacity harddrive one to replace my existing 80GB ipod rather than having to create stupid custom playlist like I have to on my iphone. Other than that touchscreen and wifi itunes support would be awesome.
You are aware that when they use their own store they'll more than likely charge more than itunes which has been actually keeping prices down to a level that most people generally find acceptable over just downloading them for free.
So two questions. First is the only way to get an iphone is to sign up for a plan, or is there any other way to stop someone from walking in the store getting 20 headsets and selling them on ebay at a insane markup. Second what is the actual out of door cost when you buy the phone and sign op for the plans? Just wondering?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
