@(Unverified) Not saying that the Courier can't play media; in fact I really hope it has a good media capabilities if it ever comes out. I'm just saying that calling it a just a "multimedia tablet" would be missing the point :P.
The Courier isn't a "multimedia tablet" :/. A fan rendering of the Apple tablet would probably be a more relevant picture :/.
@stabbytheicepic Man, you've been making stuff up this whole topic long, stabby

No, the plane was already overweight before that. But willowtwf is right, brand new planes come in overweight on the first few of pretty much any new model. That's why stipulations on the plane's weight are standard in commercial airline purchase agreements, especially with the launch of a new model. Boeing will get the weight down, as production proceeds, and a slightly higher weight is no reason to knock this excellent plane that bring so many new and wonderful innovations to the table.
Depending on your filesystem, though, this may be bad if you have a lot of smaller files (less than 4K).

But on the other hand, it's 2009. An empty Word doc is already more than 4K. This is probably long overdue :P.
@7egend Quadruple hella yes!
Gah. They're never going to add MKV support are they. What's the point of pimping your platform as a "does-it-all" home media center device if you can't even play one of the most ubiquitous HD video file container formats :/.
I'm looking for a nice slim but cheap tablet rocking Win7, and this looks like a contender. Does anyone else have a suggestion for an ultraportable Win7 tablet?
OneNote does index handwriting. That's the beauty and why pretty much every tablet owner uses OneNote.
I doubt it'll happen this holiday season, but maybe next? This thing looks like the perfect everyday-computing device to replace my current tablet :D.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
