Let me explain the problem with those cameras:

1. miniaturization shrinks the lens size -> less light into the censor.
2. miniaturization 10.1 Mega pixels into a smaller surface -> very small surface area per pixel -> less light per pixel
3. miniaturization shrinks flash size -> less light onto the subject

Result:

Not so good picture quality unless you are in a very well lit environment. And no wonder in trade shows, retailers, everywhere is very well lit.

Once you realize this gadgets are useless and you get rid off them, you will end up contributing landfill disposal eco-crime in a non eco-friendly way.
Who ever makes this claims obviously don't know much about this business. Game consoles loose money, they are bad business if you are only in for hardware revenue.

The meat is in the software, production, distribution and platform licensing fee offset losses in hardware..

Microsoft will gladly offload hardware sales as long as it can collect licensing fees from content, but manufacturers are not willing to go produce a game console and sell it with a loss .
Why charge the thing!!! It should be hybrid, it should store energy while you are rolling it down hill... Slap in a gyroscope so it stands up if I loose my balance, I will put down money for it.
I don't think general public is mature enough to appreciate this invention
You are missing the point. You should ask ugly or not:

What is "NEW", "NON-OBVIOUS" and original or authentic about this INVENTION????

One word WIMAX... It will end monopoly
What's up with that negative voice over? Why bash the product? This is just a nonsense anti-Microsoft reaction. It is nice design and will be an incredible product. Price or size or are all irrelevant at this point, it will be cheaper and thinner eventually and people will love having one. It will change desktop computing
This admirable, are they required by regulations or is it voluntary ?
Little bit too late.. Palm already kissed goodbye their place in the race.. It is a classic textbook case "How a market innovator, leader becomes 4th with insignificant market share"..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
