You must live out in the sticks, I get 50MB in a relatively small town (20,000 peeps max) I'd do 1GB in less than 3 minutes.

But yeah UK internet (ADSL mainly) sucks, but I don't think as bad as above (80MB in over 2 hours!) for the vast majority.
Please please please a Sky HD tuner!

Windows media center is basically useless without it in the UK if you ask me as freeview (FTA digital) is pretty rubbish and Sky dominate the pay TV and have exclusive access to most of the big HD Shows (lost, 24, BSG, House...) and then they also have just about all the sport.

I've been waiting for such a product for years, really, YEARS!
The BBC is one of the best things about being British and is well worth the License Fee.

With a media source free of commerical pressures we get programmes that just can't be produced anywhere else. No product placement or advertisers to insist on positive reviews, no interviews that are just stars shilling some more junk.

If America had a BBC you'd all love it.
Maybe it's a new 'Blood' Game, man I loved those back in the day! LOL
They need to open up a little, imagine the killing some would make with an iPhone spam filter?
I've been saying this should be done for a long time now. I just wish they'd also make Zune available over here in the UK.

Subscription music on a HTC Touch HD would by sweetness for me.
First everyone who says DRM sucks should really be saying DRM that doesn't work sucks. Which is all DRM to date.

If this system really does work and I can switch my media from my Sony Player to my Toshiba Player to my Xbox and my PC then it's good. Hopefully with that sort of backing it can become an industry standard.

Oh and by the way entertainment industry people, welcome to 1995!
That looks like the phone I've been wanting for about 2 years now. Just hope it has plenty of memory, FM radio and if MS can sort a Zune client for WinMo, then I'm sold.
I would really like one of these, as ripping a Blu-ray collection to HDD just isn't very economic. But I'd like to see them with multiple players inside so I can have this fridge tucked away and various TV around the house can watch different Blu-rays and a time. Then have them daisychainable so when there are enough Blu-rays worth buying you can just add-on as needed.
If you don't like it F Off! I'm sure we won't miss you.

UK Radio is awesome, we get everything covered by the BBC, and if commercial stations want us to sit through their ads then they've got to up there game to something much better than the BBC.

Fish n Chips (and mushy peas) for the win!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
