I personally want to try Live Communications server, as well as Exchange 07 on it. My company is also testing CRM Mobile on the device, but I think that may support WM5 as well.
Sorry I have to call Bullshit on that one. Dell picks anything from Seagate to WD hard drives. Most that are mainstream.
You know my opinion? It's not the hardware that counts. I could have an E-Machine run 2 years and a Dell last 2 seconds...But Dell can offer wayyyyy better support.
With that being said I have had Dell servers work perfectly. My laptop has had no problem.
To me it's who offers the best support that get's my money. Dell has everyone else beat.
And uhh...who is going to keep someone from creating a new platform on the hardware currently in place? Do keep in Mind that Windows was out then someone got the idea to create Linux...Same thing can happen with this device...someone will create a better OS to run.
I saw this on TV and thought the same thing. It gives kids the idea that they can run up a credit card but not have to pay anything back. Yeah kids...You can use a credit card....but have you heard of something called "Interest?"
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
