Reminds me of my favourite clip from Blue Harvest regarding the Thai Fighters.
they've just got to put the word "luxury" on every single feature.
Well, they've been doing "spray and pray" on their rumors for quite a long time, so I guess they got something about iPod right... rarely.
I personally don't believe ThinkSecret.
Lanthanum?

(I'm about to get killed)
...Because it's a Powerbook where battery sits on the corner. And I think that the person tried to extinguish the fire by shutting the lid.
(I would. Well, burning down a single laptop is better than burning a whole house down. Shut the thing, throw it out to backyard if you can, and get the fire extinguisher.)
Does that mean it will basically use the casing as a heatsink?
As a user of Macbook Pro (which basically uses the same technique most of the time, I guess) I don't see this feature as a good one...
(Although it does eliminate the use of fan and YES I know you don't normally rest your palms on your hard drive while typing...)
@Andir3.0// ...And Call of Duty 3, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Far Cry Vengeance, Medal of Honor: Vanguard, Resident Evil 4, Need For Speed Carbon, GT Pro Series and so on. Very hardcore indeed.
Reminds me of that "iPhone shuffle" mock-up... You don't know who you're gonna call.

The thing is, what's going to happen to the actual iPods? Any upgrades?
Maybe because the article is about a Mac?
Maybe people using or familiar with a Mac (i.e. people who read this article) would find "Macbook-style" more familiar description than "Sony Vaio X505 Extreme Note-style"?
If Engadget refers those types of keyboard as "Macbook-style" on a Sony-related article, then I'll agree with you.

I mean, really, could that kind of information change peoples' lives?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
