@Guspaz The capacity of the battery pack of a Tesla is already 54kWh, and said pack is reported to cost $20k. So when you need to power a house (consuming an average 1kW) for a week, the 84kWh pack could eventually be had for $30k after rebates. A lot, still, but not impossible to bear for whom really badly wants or needs it.
I'm sorry, but the article text is almost unreadable because the font weight and size are too low for an on-screen serif font. Please revert to a decent sans-serif font.

Looks like I finally found a replacement for my aging Toshiba Libretto 110CT.
For years Engadget has been pestering me with giveaways where I can't or where it didn't make sense to participate.

So yeah, I'd like to win something for a change, even if it's a TZ1 which I already have, a gaming mouse which I dont need because I use a trackball, or a bag that I can only use to put the garbage in and out.
I just got a TZ1 two days ago, after a lot of doubt because of the noise issues in the review of the closely related FX01 on dpreview. But in the end my shortlist came down to the TZ1 and the FX01. The latter has a 28mm wide angle, a slightly higher resolution (6M instead of 5M) and is much smaller, but I feared I'd miss the superzoom so I went for the TZ1.

In reality the noise is not that big an issue because of the great IS system: handheld shots at 1/8sec are very doable, at least if your subject doesn't move. Of course you cannot compare a compact (smaller lens, smaller sensor) with DSLRs that are five times as expensive, bulky and heavy.

As to the ISO 1600 mode: it's there, so you can at least make a bad picture instead of none at all.

Macro shots from 3", 10x tele, all handheld in low light. Decent 848x480 30fps widescreen movies (and yes, you can operate the zoom while filming!), fast and easy operation, great LCD, lots of features, great lens with minimal distortion over the entire zoom range. It's a stunning package.

Because it is something I'd been thinking of organizing myself.

"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
