I want a Wacom Cintiq 12wx.
You need Apple to make real media centers first. That apple tv crap just doesn't cut it.
The capacitive touch is no good for the medical market because they need it to work with gloves.
This would not work for healthcare because of the capacitive touch. Healthcare vertical market devices need to be able to operate with gloves.
This does raise some ethical questions. For example, if a human soldier is fired upon it is ethical for him to fire back. If a robot is fired upon is it still ok? We are then just retaliating for property damage rather than attempted murder.
@rip
Apple doesn't play in the Best Buy market? Last time I was in there I saw some Mac systems. Apple's lagging market share isn't because they don't try to compete with other PCs.
They've got you covered on #1:

Not sure about #2.
Seriously. It doesn't do the recording aspect of Vista/WMC but it does do the streaming, which is what you requested.
I know you are attempting a jest but you've unwittingly touched on a real issue. Apple has some great products but they tailor them to narrow niches. MS takes a shotgun approach. Not everything works out or takes a while to catch on but at least there is choice. That must be a hard thing for the truly devout Apple fanboy to take; the envy of what you can't have. Yet that envy shines bright as a star to all who read your little cry for help.
Sounds good, but the question was how would you change it?
WHS already streams to an xbox 360.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
