My 3225 refuses to die, despite the fact that's run hot as a furnace since day one and has the most horrendous battery life known to mankind. Unlikeable is the best way to describe after unkillable.
I don't see this thing fooling many people. Spending $2000 on a laptop usually means you're out for blazing performance (lacking in this case) or you're out for the trendy item - in which case they're going to buy an Apple.
Seriously? This isn't that complicated. The warm, already-been-used water going down your drain transfers some of its otherwise-wasted heat to the incoming cold water, thereby reducing the need for hot water. Not eliminating it. The cold water is just less cold than it otherwise may be.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
