Traffic! The first app with good traffic reporting and avoidance will get my money. I'm holding off until that. I was surprised that TomTom didn't have this feature since their stand-alone units have had it for a while.
I came to say just that. Maye $350 cool, but not $350 + $35/year cool. Too bad, I'm in the market for a programmable thermostat.
The new line up is awful. I doubt I'll renew my subscription. XM was amazing when it first started, it started getting worse the more the tweaked it and they finally finished ruining it today.
I was in the market for one of these boxes, either a Vudu box or an AppleTV. It was something as basic as the built-in Wi-Fi that made me go with the Apple product which I now love and use frequently.
I tried to win an iPhone 3G and I didn't win. At this point I'll settle for just about anything that is free.
1000 visitors a day? Comparable coasters in the area have a capacity of close to 2000 riders an hour.

I wonder how they'll handle the videos. Obviously you will not do it in the ride vehicle. Do you get a # like when they take your picture and then go to a computer terminal outside of the ride so that you can type in your email address/youtube account? Maybe they'll set up a website you can go to from home?

I'm curious about the logistics.
Add a Blue-Ray player and I'll be first in line.

I did some more research on it based on your posting and then I got to this FAQ posting: "Currently, VUDU does not allow you to delete movies that have been purchased."

Well, that's a deal breaker. Not that I'd plan on buying many movies, but I'm not going to have a file I cannot delete in the HD. Ideally you should be able to buy it and delete it and download it as needed.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
