I listed tech support/warranty as a key benefit, not that those systems would be immune to problems.
No, something doesn't go wrong every day, but if you push your system and use the latest drivers / games, etc, you're more likely to run into compatibility issues.

Also, troubleshooting is generally time consuming.
People who can afford these computers probably have other things to be doing than building and maintaining power computers.

I've been a system building enthusiast for many years, and despite that I can see the value in having someone else build a powerful PC gaming rig -- the warranty and peace of mind that comes with going with a full-service boutique shop are huge advantages if you don't have dozens of hours to burn troubleshooting if things go wrong.

I'm a hardcore PC fanboy, but I just don't have the time anymore to spend all-nighters fixing my own equipment (like last night, when I had to reformat my main system twice due to a colossal Windows system failure).
