i wonder how this compares optically to the Canon 180mm L EF Macro... i absolutely adore my 180mm..so sharp and while slow, it can do telephoto very well in the right light...i use it for my macro work....
i will be very eager to see the test between this new 100L macroand the old 100 macro as well as the 180mm L...
i wonder if this is meant to compete with the macro lenses or more with the super sharp 85mm 1.2L and the 135mm L
it does kind of sit right in between
1K for this is not bad...basically what i paid for my 180mm L Macro... if it is a ton better i might be looking to sell my 180mm and get this new bad boy...
now if i could only find a fair buyer for my 14mm 2.8 L II so i can get that 17mm TS-E
oh yeah...there is talk that the Touchbook could run Android and possibly do Iphone Apps ...some of the notetaking stuff for the ipod touch/iphone is cool...but the screen is too small...i especially like Tanzaku... bigger screen...add a capable stylus and i am in heaven...
sure i wont be able to sketch like i coudl on a WACOM but notetakin woudl be great...even if i couldnt OCR it
I am very interested to see the final specs and possibilities for
Crungear's 12" Atom powered "Crunchpad"
and
Always Innovative's 10" (i think) ARM based "Touch Book"
both tablet and touch screen based
both seem to have some very cool opportunities in this realm. Getting OneNote on them may be more difficlut than i know, but getting some kind of writing notetaking function seem natural...
both shoudl be around 300-400 bucks... and shoudl be making waves in the next few months...i know i am going to be waiting for a good hands on review of both... get on it Engadget!
i have one of these...well not this brand... and mine doesnt look like a cigarette...these actually dont last long enough and wear out too frequently... i have one built by a guy in England called the "Screwdriver" because, well it looks like a screwdriver.. check em out...dependable, great "smoke" can go 8 hours on a charge... the fluid is pretty chep to "top off" your carts... fun stuff and i havent smoked an analog since i started... no icky smell, no yellow walls, can smoke in your car...awesome
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
