The Wacom digitizer under the eInk display does it for me. You guys see an expensive ereader/smartbook, I see a cheap alternative to an iRex Libre.
Is the pen pressure and/or tilt sensitive like a wacom tablet?
Maybe because their Android efforts were going towards building this device? Perhaps the iPhone, iPod touch and Blackberry are far more popular and, logically, should get the app first along with PCs and Macs?

Android is nice and I want to see the B&N AND Kindle apps everywhere, even Windows Mobile. But I can easily see the business reasons for not having an Android app available yet.

B&N clearly wants to dominate the eBook market. Any device with any sort of popularity is almost certain to eventually get the reader software. People are far to ready to assume the worst about any company's practices.

Hetfield, long hair and full fu-manchu mustache would have but. like Samson, he lost all his power when he got a haircut.

Alice Cooper or Lemmy.
Personally I'm hoping they'll make a Pro version of this with a keyboard (although it would most likely be getting pretty chunky) but, if they don't, this is definitely my next phone.
Seeing Offspring in a small club in Salt Lake City. It was outstanding.
My favorite moment was finally figuring out how to lift the reactor core out with the Samus' ship in Corruption.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
