I don't know what "real college" you went to, but I have yet to see a college that doesn't have at least a few macs... Unless you went to Microsoft College.

Why is that so hard to believe? AT&T did it for me too. A lot of wireless carriers will do it if you ask them because they'll make a lot of money off you in the long run. What's $175 to them if you're paying $80 a month for 2 years?

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
