YAY YOU WON AN INTERNET ARGUMENT YAY
SCOTT IS RIGHT EVERYONE HE HAS WON AN ARGUMENT ON THE INTERNET!
Ah, so this is today's "let's preoccupy the bored suburban nerdchildren on summer vacation" Engadget post? Gotcha.
I just realized why so many of these comments sound so childish and ignorant. It's because they're written by actual children. Bored suburban kids on summer vacation with no real concept of business or economics coupled with the time-honored practice of talking down things you can't afford or obtain so you'll feel better about yourself. What? You thought you were the first person to do something like that?

Ok, now is the time when you post your emphatic NUH-UH! response below:
I don't understand how this is relevant to the iPhone.
After waiting for 20 minutes, I took the iPhone out of its cradle, waited a minute, plugged it back in. iTunes popped up again with the "Please wait three minutes for activation" message and three minutes later, activation had been accomplished. Passed this on to two friends, they had a similar experience -- though for friend #2 it took three tries.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
