I agree. Jon Stewart is annoying.
settle down there ogscorpion. you are probably a best buy employee.
tape is not a bad way to go if you plan on waiting for hd burners to come down in price. i feel bad for those people that listen to the idiot sales people at best buy that talk consumers into buying hd cameras, then tell them to burn the footage to SD DVDs. why buy an HD camcorder if you are only going to end up in 480i at the end. i bought a canon hv20 last summer and i don't regret it. i have 12 full tapes just waiting to get edited and burned... once i get a blu-ray burner for my macbook pro.
Hi mattclarkie,

I don't have a 360, PS3 or Wii. I've heard similar complaints from my 360-owning friends about how they don't understand the appeal Wii has on people. The only explanation I can help you out with is that the console, with the horrible graphics and all, appeals to just about anyone of any age. My cousin received one for X-mas and the whole family was fighting over who was going to bowl next. This same cousin has had every other game console in history at every family party in the last 15 years with all the latest games and they mostly have gone unnoticed. The Wii just catches people's attention. I actually think it's cool to see senior citizens throw a whooping on their great grand children while playing video games... even it is only bowling.

Cool. Pick me, thanks.
with one of these, i could get my game on... finally.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
