The iPhone has been a bit of wonder and bitterness for me for the past 3-6 months and I was wondering if I could get one when the time came. I've had one phone for the past year and it's the Nokia 9300 (http://jp.opera.com/img/press/phones/nokia_9300.jpg)
This phone is truly and utterly a brick. I've been using it for bluetooth and because of the large keyboard to take notes in class. I'm now done with school and stuck with a beat up, garbage phone that my at&t company has forsaken by keeping my mobile web prices the same while the iPhone customers get special treatment.
Yes I'm glad that I at least have my phone at all, considering how many people in this world don't have phones.. but for the first time in my life, I'd like to own a piece of high tech gadgetry that I could be satisfied with. Isn't that what all of us geeks want?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
