I like it the way it is now with people rather than turning it into a freak show. I would rather it was as realistic as possible and save all the fantasy stuff for in game.
"I'll wait and see what Panasonic do with the PTAE (1100?) - Its about time for some budget 1080p LCD Projectors."

unfortunately it looks like its not going to be 1080p. They're calling it PT-AX100.

It has been out in Australia for the past 2 weeks. I got mine a week ago and it had the same probs mentioned above - colour banding on dvi and text that looks like its got a shadow. I'm sending it back but plan to buy a new one as soon as those probs are fixed because its an awesome monitor.
In Australia, cigarette packets by law have to have a big warning that takes up a full side of the packet and includes a picture and text that tells of the dangers of smoking. I think studios who down rez should have to do the same on there cases.
if thats due in april does that mean we will be able watch HD-DVD on winXP(which i'm guessing it comes with) and not require Vista or equivilant apple OS?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
