Dec 10th 2007 11:24PM it's 13 games in and they're 13 games out, they only did half the work to achieve that but it's still pretty impressive. as much as i'd rather not see the Patriots win out the rest of the season, it'd be pretty awe-inspiring to see a 16 in the "games back" column of the standings at the end of the year. that achievement could stand for a while

Nov 17th 2007 5:11AM you know, that Scott Wolf misquote probably isn't as deliberate as that article makes it out to be. it'd be awfully easy to confuse this:
"I know (UCLA defensve coordinator) DeWayne Walker maybe better than both of those guys."
for this:
"I know (UCLA defensve coordinator) DeWayne Walker may be better than both of those guys."
especially since the first, and probably correct, interpretation is a bit awkward phrasing and sounds exactly the same to the ear.
