Jan 13th 2008 3:51PM long-term contracts cut both ways, if he hadn't signed a long contract he could do what he wanted to

Vernon Carey Compares Dolphins to High School Team {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Dec 10th 2007 11:24PM it's 13 games in and they're 13 games out, they only did half the work to achieve that but it's still pretty impressive. as much as i'd rather not see the Patriots win out the rest of the season, it'd be pretty awe-inspiring to see a 16 in the "games back" column of the standings at the end of the year. that achievement could stand for a while

Marko Jaric Confirms Adriana Lima Fling {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Dec 1st 2007 11:27AM not that people don't lie about this, but she's on record as supposedly "saving it for marriage." so perhaps it's not satisfaction off the court so much as a need to let out pent-up energy on the court that's driving his better play

Did Charlie Weis Offer to Resign? {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Nov 17th 2007 5:11AM you know, that Scott Wolf misquote probably isn't as deliberate as that article makes it out to be. it'd be awfully easy to confuse this:

"I know (UCLA defensve coordinator) DeWayne Walker maybe better than both of those guys."

for this:

"I know (UCLA defensve coordinator) DeWayne Walker may be better than both of those guys."

especially since the first, and probably correct, interpretation is a bit awkward phrasing and sounds exactly the same to the ear.

Mar 8th 2006 12:42PM i'm curious what exactly the control setup is for these games on the nano, i'm trying to imagine using the slide wheel to control Pacman or Joust and not coming up with great schemes
