I would have to hold an election between my Yoda figure and Wall-E. Wall-E would probably win because he'd have R2D2 and C-3PO voting for him, but Yoda could probably sway C3PO...so it might be a wash. Or I guess I could be responsible and get a Time Machine drive...but that would be lame.

I've been working like mad on my own band's songs (megaphone if anyone's interested). Reaper has a few little quirks but overall the process is fairly easy if not a little tedious. I also started a "company" and am hoping to use my connections in the industry to get some fairly successful but lesser known bands into the game (company's Little Cow Dog...again if anyone's interested).

Overall the RBN is a HUGE opportunity for musicians and programmers alike. I just hope that a delay like this (from mid-october to mid-november to "before the end of the year") isn't indicative of how the entire network will run.

I hunted down and bought the 80gb MGS bundle because I knew that would be the last model to support it. So yeah backward compatibility absolutely influenced my purchase. Sony makes some sweet products (sometimes) but I swear they are the dumbest corporation out there...maybe besides Sega.

I was just there and it is not near as cool as you may think. For one thing, it's crowded as hell (as you'd expect) and it's hot in there. They do have a couple big TVs playing Wii games and a bunch of DS units, but who wants to touch those things after thousands of kids have rubbed their snotty hands on them?

Great idea, but in such a high traffic tourist area, it's not really worth making a stop.
