A budget FX camera would be a bit of a splash. I noticed that this is a smaller body. Overlay the D700 and this image and you'll notice the control wheel is about 2/3 an inch closer to the lens mount.
I highly doubt it's the D3x. If you look at the mount you'll notice absence of an internal AF screw motor. This would be a huge blow to pros with prime lens or any other lens lacking an internal auto focus motor. The shown body will be AF-S lens only.
There won't be any high speed collisions for at least another 8-12 months. It will take that long just to calibrate the LHC and experiments attached to it.

As for what I'd change: -Focus mode selection(c,s,&m) has always been a pain on Nikons. Easy to accidently flick and ruin your day. -I'd also love if Auto Iso was more configurable the 1/250 shutter limit is a pain. -Allow us to fully customize the function buttons. There are a number of menu properties that would be awesome to have access to on the fly. -A more robust CF door. Its plasticy and poorly place.
