If the threw in the bombings, or even made the main chaacter a japanese american you would still be trying to protest it. Heck, if they threw in a bombing it would be even worse. If they made the main character a JA then it would have a negligible impact on the story.

Couldn't it be argued that you're being more racist than anybody else? Irregardless of your nazi killin' comment, you are the one who is trying to protest something for racial reasons. There is irrefutable evidence that japanese people were involved for at least 5 minutes in World War 2. Theres evidence that torture happened.
