Bottom Line: I dont think that they mean to say that you HAVE to activate in store, but i think that they are offering it as an option, because with the Iphone 1, you could not activate in store and if you were not good at computers and didn't know how to activate at home. so I think that they are offering the option of them doing it in store. again i must stress that no where in that statement does it say that "Activation must be done in store" i think its just a service to help grandpa and grandma on their way
