As a develober who has been using N900 now for 2 weeks i can't believe how hard you are making the TS use to look.

I have been using ipod touch since the release and while it did need me to get used to N900 it didn't really need more than 30min. Thought i'm using more index finger compared to thumb.
MMS part isn't exactly true as official Maemo site and developer forum is already making one at this time. Already in testing
I wonder why Engadget haven't posted 3Q smartphone market shares.
Can't wait!!
If iphone have done something with priceys it's the horrible lock to carrier that we have been mostly free in Europe to the picture again.
It's just saddens me that still people don't understand the real priceys of their phones.
Huh this article was just great because it was just hard talk with no fanboiness, but my friend you are the opposite. What are you even talking?
It is amazing how important these two countires have been for the mobile phone industry. With out Nokia and Ericcson it sure would look different.
Oh and as finnish i hope Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo gets fired soon. While all of losses in Q3 where from Nokia Siemens Network the core(mobile phones) business could be done so much better.
Huge potential in here no doubt. China is already N series land as it now days buys more N series phones than even Europe.

With Nokias 40% market share in smartphones it would be fun to see if even fraction of people would buy this phone from those 500 million peoples and how it would change those percentages in Nokias smartphone share :)
As far as my TS phone experience goes most of this capactive hype is all about iphone, but i do agree that capactive tend to be better. It's just that good resistive can be better than capactive.
And i totally agree with above comments about the UI and umph of the device making THE difference here.
They sure are when they boosted their market share last quarter and already sold 8 million 5800 and 2 million N97 in 3 months(that's faster than the N95 that sold 17 million in the end).
Funny thing is that with all these new TS phones coming N900, X6, N97 mini, 5230 and so on. Nokia is becoming by far largest touch screen phone market :D
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
