Phew - so that's only one time a fuse has saved your life.
Cost of mistake: ~$25m
Is it going to be paid? Yes.

Can the mistake be afforded? Um... Yes.
You can never be too old for pop-up pirate, but you can be too young. Ages ~7-17 find it immature and dull, but anything above that and the fun returns... weeee...
Um...

1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU - check
Low £399.99 price tag - check
Clean white stylings - check

You're right, I can't see any reason why Asus would want to use the eee brand on this one, it's nothing like the rest of the range.
Yes - and distracting a driver with alarms isn't going to cause problems at all. And limiting someone's speed when there's an accident and they need to get out of the way is super lovely. Nothing like electronics to take away your role as a responsible parent.
I'm not sure why this exemplary piece of sarcasm has been ranked low, when so many others are making demands equally ridiculous while expecting the machine to stay the same size and cost. At least this list is obviously impossible rather than disingenuous.
Almost exactly the opposite.
Absolutely. For engadget to call this a 'travesty' and 'boring' suggests they have lost all hope and wouldn't understand street theatre if it was dancing about in an apple store. For shame! I'm pretty sure these guys were at least somewhat involved in the London-New York Telectroscope (http://www.tiscali.co.uk/telectroscope/) as well. This kind of large scale street art is exactly the kind of thing we Brits enjoy. It's a shame geographically-estranged americans don't appreciate it as much.
Are *you* being sarcastic or are you that stupid?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
