I would very much like to meet the woman in the picture.
Hi! :) Let's "fix" the world economy shall we? The global mess that we're in right now was caused, with room for debate, by many things among which can be counted irresponsible behavior by businesses themselves, immoral behavior by the businesses, 'inefficient" regulation by the governments of powerful/influential countries, etc. The problem, in my opinion, is that businesses really think in terms of what would profit them the most, regardless of the impact on the "big picture", and for which they really can't be blamed either as ideally that is the whole point of a business. Now that we have gotten ourselves into this mess I believe there are certain things, which coincide to a certain extent with what President Obama has in mind, that could be done to at the very least help speed things up. A basic fact is that jobs must be created so people are employed and start spending more, which feeds into the cycle. Another, somewhat unrelated, problem is that there are many services, facilities, buildings, etc. that are subpar around the country (And other countries as well). What I suggest is that we, along with other countries, intiate a program in which businesses help the governments repair, upgrade, or renovate these services and facilities either vastly improving the quality of which, adding new features, or both. In return, the businesses would be entitled to a certain share of the profits made from those things. This project would require the employment of many engineers, architects, laborers, scientists, analysts, and so forth. Eventually many people would have to be employed and upward trend would emerge. As more people are employed to build and maintain, more people would also start spending more, and businesses would profit as well. I'd have liked to describe this in more elaborate terms, but due to time and space restrictions I can't. But, I believe that I've been able to convey the basic idea more or less with the needed detail.
Excellent spoof of "Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy"! :D
Just kidding :) Cool stuff though.

"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
