"Exaggerated, notice the lunch box, food on both sides, I wonder how he closed it. "
Except most modern Asian bento boxes are double (or even triple) deckers. One for rice, one for the side dishes. Some has extra decks for either soup or snacks.
I find it entertaining how people think that everything's copied off the iPhone. I myself am an iPhone user but I can at least realize that not everything with a touch screen copies the iPhone. I owned several Dopod/HTC phones and it's obvious that Touch HD is an evolution of their previous HTC Touch which was itself built upon their old Dopod PDA Phones (imagine that! a touchscreen phone which came out long before the iPhone was ever announced!! =/)
@Jubei: "me too company?" Whatever, I've been using HTC pda phones way before iPhones (which I currently own as well) were announced. And the funny thing is that the original HTC touch was announced way before Apple decided to name their phoneless iPhone as iPod Touch, and now everyone thinks HTC is copying Apple. Ridiculous.
and console-like quality games? what consoles have you been playing =/ As much as I love my iPhone, I'd never make such a claim.
I agree, this is pretty offensive and only reinforces the stereotype. Sure, you can say it's just a joke, but "Here we have Fake Bill hocking a PDA" sounds pretty much as if he's stating a fact.
I have the same problem. This is the 3rd time since my update that my iPod battery drained completely for just sitting there untouched for a few hours. I was really concerned, but after reading this, I guess it makes some sense now. :(
Most likely from China. Taiwanese don't buy fake electronics. In fact, importing Japanese Wii (at ridiculous prices) was all the craze this year in Taiwan.
For those saying that Taiwan is behind the trend, one should note that Taiwan was one of the first countries to pilot the use of LED lights (afterall, the LED industry is huge there).
As a previous poster mentioned, LED lights has been in place for many years now (more than 8 in my city from what I remember). I believe this "news" is merely about the decision to make a nation-wide changeover (to include the country-side and smaller towns as well) and to expand the energey-saving technology to street lights in the future.

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
