Nothing could be further from the truth. Some people are naturals but the other 99% of us need to work at it. Working at it includes looking at the best practices of others.
There are multiple Caddyshack references in game that I uncovered in Kalimdor. The two I remember:

1) There's a goblin vendor in Ogrimmar named something like Alkzervik which is a reference to Rodney Dangerfield's character Al Czervik.
2) One of the quest givers in Feralas says "Here's a little something, you know, for the effort", which is a reference to Bill Murray's Dalai Lama speech.
Yeah, definitely not a screenshot from the 0.6 push. I started playing November '03 during the alpha test and if my memory serves me correctly, the standard UI hasn't changed all that much since.

I wish they would bring back the low level mob portrait icon they had in the alpha/beta. If a mob was grey to you, instead of the mob level it displayed an icon of a baby seal. As in, beating this mob is like clubbing a baby seal.
My wife has been saying she wants a new bag. May not be what she had in mind but...
Question for those who have played Rock Band - is the game any fun if you just have the guitar and none of the other instruments? My NYC apartment is basically a box and doesn't have room for all the other stuff. I'd like to pick up RB or RB2 but not sure I'd get much out of it.
I loaded D2 and the expansion (which I never played) onto my PC this weekend. I figured the nostalgia would wear off after about 10 minutes. Currently in my 4th hour of play time - just rescued Deckard Cain from his cage!
While not one of the worst trades of all time, figured I'd bring this up while we're discussing the Lindros deal. What some people forget is that the Devils made a small play to try to acquire Lindros the year before he entered the draft by trying to get the 1st pick overall. So I present to you this: Tom Kurvers for the Maple Leafs 1990 1st round pick. Ending up with the 3rd overall pick in the draft (Maple Leafs had the 2nd worst record but the Sharks had the 2nd overall pick), the Devils select Scott Niedermayer.
A communications disruption can mean only one thing... invasion.

Hey, I was finally able to use a quote from that abomination of a movie.
Joystiq - your article is not accurate. People need to look at the serial # on the guitar itself, not the box. My box has a serial # ending in 55 but the guitar itself has a serial # ending in 65, with the jack next to the shoulder strap.
Burninating the countryside, burninating the peasents...

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
