just because some singapore has ties to China doesn't mean its like it. over there the people are VERY hard working and its offending to compare them the china who are slackers. Frankly my mum who is singaporean loathes all lazy chinese imigrant that come over beacause they do a half-arse job! so dont compare singapore and china as the same!

don't get the Archos 605, what you pay for are bad custimor service and more payoffs for codec's and software.They also have a bad gistory with the 04 series problem with static wrecking the pmp.
Get Cowon and you get a cool product with NO payoffs, great updates, more codec than archos (mkv for example), well made device and it will be unique! not like those crap ipods.
beside most people who buy archos regret it, when a new device is made~
