No matter how you try to say what you are trying to say you are going to come across as racist. Period.

It has nothing to do with "black people". It has everything to do with how those kids are raised and their environment.

Unfortunately, in the worst and most impoverished areas of America they are predominately African-American. The children are being raised like animals for the most part with few exceptions.

So you wonder why "black people" are not nice keeping the door opened for you, and the answer is that their parents never taught them to do so.

Blame the parents. I do.
@redringofdeath

You're exactly right. This is not about consumerism or America. This is just "normal" human behaviour.

Before the rest of you get started, shit LIKE this was happening all over for thousand's of years. It is why the Coliseum was designed the way it is. The Romans were smart enough to figure out that to keep people safe and get people in and out quickly they designed the whole place to fill up and empty in just minutes. That design lives on to this day in just about every modern stadium, although to a lesser degree.

This is also why hundreds and thousands of people die each year being trampled to death during their pilgrimages for Islam. Try reading about that. It happens in India too, so it's not an "Islamic" thing.

There have been great tragedies in this country where people have died trying to escape fires. Most of the smart fire codes in NY, and other cities have come about after horrific tragedies and great loss of life.

In other words, this is Mob Mentality. Nobody at the back pushing wanted someone to die. Nobody started out that morning as an "American" saying I am going to buy some shit cheap today even it KILLS somebody.

Now the douche-bags that refused to leave after hearing somebody died in the building are just assholes. I bet what the article does not mention is that most people that knew, did leave. I would be surprised otherwise. The assholes are just representative of the probability that in 2,000 people there are going to be at least 50 intractable assholes, 150 douche-bags, and a smattering of buttheads, jerks, and bitches.

So I agree with you (redringofdeath), the holier than though assholes need to shut up and start saying something intelligent or compassionate for the family instead of taking the opportunity to bash Americans, Consumerism, Capitalism, in whatever ways their ideology demands them too.
Was the guy eating cheetos covered in fucking olive oil when he took the pictures?

Every single photo is covered with grimy ass fingerprints :)
)law(:

LoL. I was about to say the same thing. If it's five port, it ain't no lady. Unless you like the crying game.
Sure.. I got some room. Send em on over.
That is the real question. If Sony changed the hardware in a vain attempt to temporarily protect it, that would be quite stupid. Unfortunately, this is Sony so stupidity has been part of their business model for quite some time.

There is nothing truly unhackable once the hardware is in "unfriendly" hands. That is largely irrelevant though. Don't get me wrong, I got a stiffy just looking at the differences between the two and the 3000 looks a LOT better.

It's just that I have all of my PSP games in protected storage and I won't ever go back to using the UMD. It takes too much energy and is not as easy to use as a hacked PSP with 8 gig memory sticks. So why would I spend another 300$ to buy the new model which takes away functionality? I probably won't

Ohh, and I was serious. I have about 300 PSP games downloaded off Bittorrent, but I actually OWN all of the titles that I played through and enjoyed. There will be a large number of people that are not motivated by piracy to stay with the 2000.
Heh. Hehehe. BWAHAHAHAHHAHA! *cough* *couhg* AHAHA BWHWHWHHHHWAHHAAAA!

I almost had an orgasm when I heard they were finally dying.

Crapware? They were one step beyond crapware. I saw DOZENS of laptops that had Vongo pre-installed that would slow the system down and could never complete the installation of Vongo.

It was harder to remove in some cases than malware. I literally had to create images for some laptops that contained all the drivers/software to do a complete wipe of the OS to get rid of Vongo.

If there is a middle tier between crapware and malware it is called Vongo.
Sylvania selling netbooks is kind of like Disney selling condoms and hardcore porn.

It's just really hard to see the two go together.
Better have some other good products is all I can say.

The OLED Keyboard sucks. All I have heard is that it looks very, VERY, pretty but is hard to type on. Not a very good experience and using it for everyday typing would be a pain.

Considering the horrible reviews that I have heard about their "flagship" product I have a hard time seeing how they will make a kiosk or a store profitable as relying on sales of a $1500 dollar keyboard is a bit risky.

Too bad really. I had such high hopes for it.
Poor design? I never heard of their cooler products for the PS3 and XBOX, but that case they have for the PSP is one solid product.

I don't know about the other products, but the PSP case has worked out very well for me.

Solid metal, internal battery to charge your PSP, works with the same power cables that come with the PSP as well, and you can hold it in your hands and play the PSP with it.

So to make it sound like they have no good products at all is kinda of a stretch.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
