I say don't kill GMC. Instead, kill all Chevy trucks/full-size SUVs and make Chevy a car/crossover-only brand, focused on price and fuel efficiency. Make GMC the work-vehicle brand and consolidate the number of large fuel-guzzling vehicles GM produces by keeping only the Sierra, Canyon, and Yukon.

Also, Buick seems like the awkward child between Chevy and Cadillac. However, it is doing incredibly well in China, so make it an Asian-market only brand just like Opel is a Europe-only brand.

Making Pontiac a niche brand is very smart. Just keep the Solstice and G8 and use the G8 underpinnings on the next-gen Impala. Maybe make a next-gen G6 series on a hopped-up Cruze platform if things are going well.

My two cents.
I'm the king of Alaska. Oh and did anyone notice his myspace "friends" are all singers that cater to the 11-year-old girl crowd?
The new G15 has less G-keys, is slightly smaller, has orange backlighting instead of blue, and has an integrated LCD more like the G11 than the pop-up LCD on the old G15. It also looks slicker.
Favorite scene?

Definitely where the Spartans are fighting the lowly Persian soldiers and Leonidas kills one by hitting him with his shield.... in slow motion!

Or when Leonidas is about to die and instead of killing Xerxes he makes him bleed in front of his whole army. It really pissed me off at the time but now I see that was a even better move.
also, a flash plugin for the browser. much of youtube still doesnt work cuz it hasnt been converted to H.264 and it would be nice to be able just to navigate using safari. alot of web pages dont work also.
good call. the maps function would be soooo much better if instead of searching for "chinese restaurant (insert city here)" you could just say "nearest chinese restaurant"

and i dont really agree with the lack of physical keyboard being a problem. sure, its not quite as good for typing long emails but its fine for SMS and its part of what makes the thing so slick to use.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
