Good science fiction has always been grounded with real human relationships, good sci-fi has always explored the issues of the world but in allegorical format so that hot button topics can be explored without people getting all huffy and dogmatic.

Frankly, it's unreasonable that in a more "realistic" toned show that the sex lives of a bunch people stuck together and relying on each other wouldn't be explored.

And stargate has ALWAYS explored these themes. SG-1 was all about deconstructing religion and myth and how people cling to it dogmatically. Atlantis was all about the peace and reconciliation process on both a macro and micro scale.
wrong wrong wrong.
Having sex with a child makes you a child rapist. In this country we don't believe a child has the ability to make decisions in regards to having sex, never mind the booze and drugs. And you must be a sad sick fuck if you think booze and drugs are part of "seduction".

Secondly, the victim did not say she wanted the charges dropped because Polanski didn't rape her, she said she wanted the charges dropped because the media attention on her was ruining her life and her family's life. There's a big difference.

Third, if the language used is what makes you mad and not the idea of a 42 year old man drugging and anally raping a child then you're one sick sad individual.
It's also good for religion as well, I say a little prayer before turning it...
It's only bad if you giggle *during* a rough insertion.
I have the donner cut.. it's marginally better than the theatrical but hardly "so good". Spinning the earth backwards was silly enough the first time around.
You mean if a bunch of white people stood around, made fun of black people, called them niggers and then beat the crap out of the one black person in the entire movie?

I'm sure al sharpton would be picketing outside the theaters and there would be non stop coverage by CNN.
Again? Hope this time it works for them.
Stop funneling billions of dollars in subsidies into established industries like oil, coal and big agriculture and instead use the money to subsidies emerging industries like solar and wind
it was awesome, if you don't like it you obviously have no soul.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
