"Are you sure its outright "illegal"? Could you not technically buy a copy of Mac OS X from any Apple Store and now own a license to use it?"

saboola, it is outright illegal to run osx on ANY hardware other than that made by apple, regardless of your ownership of a licence, otherwise they may has well just licence it to dell or sony like they want, but cant have mwahahahaha. a mac is the only computer that can 'legally' run the 3 main OS used today, why limit yaself
Apple fanboys might wanna consider this since they're so conscious about size.

what? and pc users tell there girlfriends size doesnt matter!?!?! lol ;)

anyway, this is stupid, and embodies the reason apple doesnt make the nano video capable.
so if sony make this, will it make me spontaniously combust? lol sorry, someone had to say it!
do dell actually think that anouncing it before anyone else is big or clever? very insecure
hhmm, and still seems to have less stickers on it than most new PC's lol
oh give it a rest engadget, you are not big and you are not clever. what about the problems with every PC manufactureer that go unreported due to the customers actually expecting problems with pc's, apple (and IBM) are still the number 1 in quality, with less returns and higher customers satisfaction than any othe box assembler, so give it a rest.
"My question is for what reason did they exclude the Firewire 800 port before just to add it back now?! Could they seriously not get a intel motherboard made for them that included it until now?"
other than the mac pro (they commitioned intel to design that motherboard) apple designs their own motherboards so i guess it was their choice :S
now thats a nice icon
U.S.B......U.S.B dont think id use anything less than firewire 800 myself
and how much hand to hand combat goes on these days?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
