Oct 28th 2009 11:51AM I got my Epic Mickey issue last week. I was looking forward to it based on the concept art, but the in game screenshots completely ruined any enthusiasm I may have had for the project. It's nice that they got an exclusive though (a real one, not Playstation magazine's "Look, we have sketches of the layout of some Modern Warfare 2 maps, with sniper positions marked! What a scoop!" BS exclusive from this months issue).
If November comes around and you still don't have your Epic Mickey issue, I'd write them and ask what the delay is (your magazine may have been lost in the mail).
3D Dot Game Heroes being localized by unknown 3D game publishing heroes {Joystiq}
Oct 27th 2009 3:39PM They are like an anime company in a way. There is a niche for their products, but none of them will ever be mainstream.
The rumor for weeks has been that Atlus and an unnamed publisher were both interested in the publishing rights. I'd be thrilled if Atlus did it, because I know there is going to be a ton of text to translate, and they are really the only people I trust to do that faithfully. It's nice to have official confirmation that it will be coming out here.
If this were any other time of year, I'd import instead of waiting. Since I'll have so much to play this holiday season though, I can definitely wait. If they can have this thing localized by March or April, that will be perfect.
